Spring Potluck

Join the Citizen Gardeners and the Austin Permaculture Guild at the Spring 2012 Local Food Potluck and Celebration. Join a great group, at a great place, for a grand night of tasty local food and beverages and help honor food producers - Farmers, Ranchers, Gardeners, Chefs and Artisans - and the Spring 2012 crop of Citizen Gardener and Permaculture graduates.

The potluck will be held on Sunday, May 6th, from 6-9 PM at the lovely Barr Mansion, the nation's first certified organic events facility. Bring a local food dish (6-8 servings) with as many local ingredients as possible - from your garden, farmers markets, etc.. Also bring the local beverage of your choice, enough for you and a little to share with friends.

I will have to wait and see what is available at the market before I can plan on what to bring. And now that I am in Elgin I have a new market to visit. I'll be stopping by The River Valley Farmers Market early Saturday morning.
